Socks without grips on the bottom can be a slipping hazard. Children tend to move quickly, causing them to fall and often get hurt on slippery floors. An easy remedy, is to paint the bottom of your child's socks with "puffy" paint. (This bottle was purchased at Michaels for approximately $7.00).

Simply apply the "puffy" paint to the bottom of each sock. Here is where you can be creative. "Puffy" paint is available in a variety of colours. I like to print the child's name, this also helps identify your child's socks at daycare, school or camp, serving a dual purpose. For a professional look, try dots. Use your imagination and have fun!

After you have finished painting, let the socks dry for 2 to 3 days, or according to the instructions on the paint. Ta Da! Your child now has socks that are safe to play in.
