Literacy Program

We support the development of Literacy Skills through active engagement and observation.

The children learn letters and phonics using different activities.  We use play dough, crafts, songs, puppets, stories and various activities to teach each letter.  Children who attend every day are given the benefit of participating in the whole Literacy Program.

Reading

Language is the gateway to learning.  It creates the foundation for strong literacy skills.  The children are encouraged to explore language, sounds, learn the alphabet, vocabulary and more.
